Five people sit in a semi-circle at the base of a column at Kazan Cathedral in Leningrad. The group sits in a half circle open towards camera. The leftmost person sits, facing right, with their legs crossed and with a book on their lap. A man sits second from left. He appears to be seated upon the base of one of the Cathedral's columns. To the right of him and seated at center is a woman. She too sits on the base of one of the columns. Two men sit on the ground at right. A bag rests on the ground between the feet of the rightmost man.
