Against the background of the flag of Russian Soviet Socialist Republic, four figures: a revolutionary sailor, holding a gun and wearing a machine-gun belt; a worker holding a jackhammer; a soldier of the times of the WWII holding a submachine gun, wearing a helmet and shoulder boards, and an astronaut wearing a space helmet with the letters USSR. These figures symbolize the October Revolution, the industrialization, the Great Patriotic War and the current Soviet space exploration. The text says "Rossii vernye syny" / "Russia's faithful sons".
