Description

The Pestalozzi Medal for loyal service , named after the Swiss educator Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi , was a state award of the German Democratic Republic (GDR) for loyal service , which was founded on November 15, 1956 by the Council of Ministers of the GDR and in the form of a wearable medal was awarded. This is a gold medal. There were also silver and bronze.
