Description

A stylized female figure by Fürtös György of the Zsolnay Ceramin Factory in black and white glaze. It was made in 1965. The woman is portrayed sitting on a rock with her left knee up and right leg straight out to the side. Her left arm is resting on her left knee and she holds a leaf-shaped basket on her head with her right hand. She seems to be sitting in the nude with a few specially placed lines and areas filled in with black. She has her hair wrapped up in a bun behind her head.
