Once Upon a Dream by Billy Fury. This record shows a fragment of a hand (mainly the fingers). X-Ray USSR Record Roentgen Bones Ribs Music Vinyl Due to Soviet censorship, mainstream music (especially Western music) was banned. Bone music is the term for music that has been cut onto X-Ray film. The X-Rays used for bone music were stolen from Soviet hospitals and dumpsters to create these forbidden records. Each X-Ray has been cut into a record-sized circle with a small hole burned in the middle from cigarettes to fit onto a record player. Every X-Ray has one song and can only be played a few times on a record player before becoming destroyed since the film is so thin and delicate.
